What do the The Hollywood Bowl, Blues Alley, the Montrose Jazz Festival and Possum’s Store all have in common…? Chris Whiteman! This May 18th, Chris will bring his fabulous quartet to Possums Store on the Robinson River.
Chris has worked with Grammy winning artists and producers, composed music for film and is a signature artist arranger for Musicnotes.com. In addition to leading his own group, he is the music director for Waytt Michael from NBC's "The Voice" Season 21, and was a regular member of vocalist Veronica Swift's band. Emre has performed with Charlie Bird, Ron McClure and many others. Ayinde is a piano virtuoso from Richmond, VA. He was the 2015 National Young Arts Foundation Merit Winner in Jazz. Randal is an acoustic and electric bassist also from Richmond, VA. He's performed with jazz orchestras, symphonies, recorded and travelled internationally. He is a member of the music faculity at the Virginia Commonwealth University.
