Two weeks before her 9th birthday, Alyssa Divers was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive bone cancer: Osteosarcoma.
Now, 10 years old, and following intensive treatment at UVA Hospital, Alyssa has suffered a reoccurence of the tumor and is struggling for her life under the care of specialists in a Texas Medical Center where she'll undergo more chemotherapy and amputation. Her and her family's journey has been long, difficult and expensive. Sojourners Church family will host the Alyssa Divers Benefit Concert featuring popular local artists: Adrian Duke, Ashley McMillen, The Durty Weasels, Stuart Gunter and more. Cost: $10 per person, free for children 10 and under. There will be lots of children's activities and delicious treats. All checks to be made out to: Lynn Litchfield Divers.
