Bestselling author Adriana Trigiani will speak about her new book, "The Shoemaker's Wife" on Wednesday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at UVA Alumni Hall (211 Emmet St.). Trigiani has just come from a NYC tour on Today, Good Morning America, CBS Early Show and others where her book has been acclaimed as a major success and is a NYT bestseller. Adriana, who grew up in Wise County, Va., is a fascinating speaker and accomplished author. Tickets are $60 for the reception and book talk half price for all UVA students and faculty.
